Back ont hills

Whilst I've not got back up onto the fells since moving back to Kirkby Lonsdale. I've been walking up in the hills locally whilst I build back fitness and lose weight to have a crack at running them!

Photograph of a river on a bright sunny day. There are trees either side of the river and a path running along the right-hand side.

It's quite nice as they are much quieter than the fells around Ambleside, Keswick etc, especially at this time of year with the nicer weather.

I'm hoping to get up 1-2 times as week and might introduce some running sections slowly, and am hoping to book a week staying in the lakes sometime this summer.

Photo taken from the top of the cairn on Brownthwaite Pike. The sky is a bright blue and there are rolling fields and a valley in the distance.

Today it was a trip up to Brownthwaite Pike, glorious views! I love getting out walking, and it's been so nice getting back into it. Frees up thinking and stresses.
